Maria Krämer entered a Franciscan community of Catholic Sisters on September 25, 1904, and received her new name as Sister Herminegilda.
Memoirs from her niece, Mary (Kramer) Wild:
In 1966 I visted Sister Herminegilda at Volklingen, Saar. At that time she was 81 years old, and quite well. Her work was braiding the white cord used by the Sisters as a waist cord.
