"BECHER, Ledvina April 12th, 1909 - October 7th, 2003 Hayes, KansasFairview, Alberta With great sorrow, we announce the loss of our dear mother, aunt, grandmother (oma) and great-grandmother. Ledvina is survived by her children, August, Joseph (Margaret), Sr. Mary, Robert (Valerie), Anne Slanina (Joseph), John (Helen), Margaret Martin (Andre), Martha Krapp (Frank), Henry (Luella); daughter-in-law, Julie, Peter (Peggy), Christine Levesque (Constant), Patricia Lafrance (Claude); and son-in-law, Robert Dagenais; step-son, Linus (Dolores); step-daughters, Mariette, Mathilda (Tony), Sr. Alwina, Sr. Thecla, and Gertrude (Clem); also 85 grandchildren and 149 great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents, Adelhide (Dechant), in 1942 and Johannes Mager, in 1939; half brother, Joseph Krapp (1960); husbands, Peter Becher (1953) and Joseph Becher (1992); son, Bernard (1991); daughter, Elizabeth Dagenais (1996); step-daughter, Barbara Kaup (1996); daughter-in-law, Betty (1959); and numerous sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Funeral Services were held at St. Thomas More Catholic Church, Fairview, Alberta on October 11th, 2003; officiated by Fr. Michael Dechant, O.M.I. Special thanks to Dr. J.R. Andreiuk and staff at Fairview Health Center. Also thanks to staff at the Harvest Lodge in Fairview and all previous caregivers. The family members express their gratitude for your kindness evidenced in thought, word and deed. Donations to charity of one's choice. Arrangements by Moran Funeral Home, Fairview, Alberta.
