John Kramer, beloved husband of Marie of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 24, 2017 at the age of 88 years. He is survived by his loving wife of sixty seven years; grandsons, Christopher (Nicole) Ingwersen, great-granddaughter Kathryn, and Matthew (Breanna) Ingwersen; brother Tony (Judy) Kramer; sisters, Mary Wild and Matilda Vant Erve; and many nieces and nephews. John was predeceased by his daughter Kathryn Ingwersen (nee Kramer) and son Kenneth Kramer. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY (Park Memorial, 5008 Elbow Drive S.W. Calgary, AB) on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 7:00 p.m. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. James Catholic Church (5504 – 20th Street S.W.) on Wednesday, November 1, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. Lunch to follow in the hall. Family wishes to thank staff at the Mayfair Care Centre for the amazing care given to John while there. Albert Jacob Kramer peacefully passed away in the presence of his loving family on Palm Sunday, April 13, 2014. Bert loved spending time with his family, camping, dancing, biking, watching hockey, Stampede wrestling, coffee, the colour purple, slot machines, ice cream and occasionally a Pilsner in his backyard. Bert was an automotive technician for many years. Bert and his loving wife and sweetheart, Cecile, were happily married for 61 years. They were blessed with six children; Marilyn (Robert), Valerie (Robin), Virginia, Thomas (Alison), Mary-Frances (Scott) and Christine (Gord). They were also blessed with eleven grandchildren; Anne-Marie, Aaron, Julie, Joshua, Leslie, Amy, Alison, Alister, Ryan, Blair and Justin along with grive great grandchildren; MacKenzie, Annika, Blake, Ty and Emily. He is also survived by his brothers and sisters; Mary, Alphonse, John, Matilda and Tonly. Bert was a wonderful, caring, gentle man of faith who will be fondly missed by his loving family."
